Just a guess based upon the other cars on the road.

Looks more like a Mercury Cougar to me.

Can't help with the car I'm afraid, but being a sad trainspotter type,
I immediately recognised the location as Inverness - quite a bit has
changed since then!

Got it in one. Inverness, from possibly the old Mercury Hotel. A lot has changed since that photograph was taken.
