Classic car insurers

I’ve been with Hagerty for some years now and this time around I note the premium is fairly high. Any good insurers that offer a competitive policy worth looking at please.
My M.G. magnette has a £125 premium for the year at Hagerty, previously with different vintage and classics the premiums been around £80 year.

Carole Nash, have always come up trumps for me with the Griffith and the B.

I use A Plan for my Cortina 1600E, guaranteed value, mileage limit of 5k all for the princely sum of £90 per year.

I have been with heritage for years, with my 4 all on a fleet policy, TVR agreed value,11 months ago changed a Range Rover for a Hi Lux and had to pay an extra £125, Got my renewal in March UP another £135 to a renewal of £980 for all 4.
Had a moan would not budge, so decided to shop around, ended up leaving the V8's (TVR & MG) with them but insured the Hi Lux with Admiral and MX-5 with Churchill, Total of all of them £630 !!
So best to shop around every year,

I'm also with Heritage, in fact I have been for many years. I have recently started shopping around, but not found anyone on the same price, or rather not enough lower to be worth filling out all the forms and sending yet more photos. I did have some terrible communication trouble with them this year but the person involved doesn't seem to work there any more. The agreed value bit has also got a lot easier this year when they changed insurance companies, at the value level my cars are at.

But I'd agree, shop around every year or two, even if it only reassures you that you're still getting a decent price.

I've found the main problem with classics and insurance is the poor ( pathetic?) treatment of vandalism issues/claims. For me Vandalism is the main threat to a lovely old car, in my case a 2.2 911S. Garaged of course but it's always vulnerable outside shops, clubs etc. Alu engine lids, 2000 pounds new or hundreds to repair vandalism.
