Strong money for a dustbin. Worth considering if it were half the price and a Calibra.

The calibra turbo isn't as desirable anymore. A pristine calibra turbo will be 10k, a cavalier will be upwards of 15k nowadays

Sourced one, little bit of a nightmare with my nans will and selling her flat but the chap is more than happy to wait till I'm ready to collect it as it is absolutely top money for a Cavalier turbo. Hoping 6-8 weeks now. Diamond black with 45k miles and 3 owners, absolutely mint as, have pictures of everything, all the work thats ever been carried out. Exactly what i was after

I'd expect it is being bid up, and will reappear in a week or so after the end of the current auction.

I know the values of them, I've asked everyone i possibly can beforehand and I'm slowly building my knowledge on them (They're older than i am lol). That white ones ex police by the looks of it being a later car with cloth interior

To be honest IMHO that looks cheap as chips when you look at Sierra Cosworth prices!

Lovely motors but from what I remember they're incredibly tyre sensitive.... I've a feeling that mismatched tread depth on the rears can lead to the diffs winding up and exploding.

This could however be a load of mis-remembered junk and, in any case, doesn't stop me wanting one lol

The white one in the main picture?
It's a German market Opel Vectra, these cars are usually more of a base spec than British ones so not sure it would be ex-police.

Not serious money, but it would have some value. The bidding is far beyond the value of the plate, in my opinion

The infamous Motorhub seem to have a few - they'll probably snap it up, wash it and put it up for £15k as a mint original car! (Edit - see they've already been mentioned)

The lack of MOT history online means it has been off the road for at least 12 years.

After all how much does a MK1 Escort V5 and a pile of scrap sell for these days?

Thats what I've been saying for ages, compared with Fords the Vauxhalls have always been under appreciated and under valued. I do hope this is finally the time classic vauxhalls are worth something, i have noticed they are slowly sneaking up
