Just poured a night cap and flicked onto this- seems quite entertaining albeit still a little staged but definitely different- anyone else tuned in?

Yes, it was all a bit staged with a look at Cuban "quaintness" for want of a better term. Also steering fairly clear of America's long standing grudge against Cuba - a grudge driven by the Mafia no doubt. On the other hand it did show some ingenuity in engineering though slinging a set of pistons in a plastic bag seemed a bit too carefree. It brought to mind a programme that I saw some years ago about Cubans and cars, which showed some guys making a repair panel using brown paper to make a pattern then using sheet metal from another car- again it was staged as they got it right first time. I'm not that good! I've been to Havana and really liked it, though some of the cars look a bit too shiny and have lost their original engines by the sound of them.

I was disappointed.

Wanted to see lots of 50s motoring Americana and the like.

Seemed a very staged soap-opera / faux jeopardy wasted opportunity.

Cancelled my series link after two episodes.
