Bristol Cars - Syd Lovesy
Discussion
The Bristol Post finally came up with a decent article: the obituary of Mr Syd Lovesy, 98; former factory manager of Bristol cars, and involved in the build of every.single.one.

Of all places the Wail has a good piece apart from its 'quirky' heading about 'wacky' cars!
Hate the Wail as much as you like, there is always a good selection of pics.

Different times. Good innings though, 98. Tony Crook was in his 90s too wasn't he?
My marque at heart, Ginetta - MD Bob Walklett was 91 when he died last year. Perhaps the smell of engine oil keeps you going?

Thanks for finding those. Hate the Wail as much as you like, there is always a good selection of pics.
They are certainly great photos of cars from a bygone era - I've always quite liked them, but they've always been well over my budget!
