Mexico re-spray required
Discussion
Hi can anyone recommend a paint shop in the Teesside area who can complete a full paint of my Mexico. I have a chap local who I wanted to use but as I need the car complete for Croft in August I think he is just to busy to fit me in. I have painted the underside and all the places inside that are not on show now I want a top job on the rest. The car has only had the original paint and very few repairs - new wings one new sill and wheel arch so no massive filling and sanding jobs - a walk in the park for the right company! But time is of the essence!
Nice...

This thread shows the painstaken attention to detail of the above car, Reading it the O.P. used Colourtec,Stockton on Tees.
No connection to either, but I will be paying them a visit myself for a paint job chat.

Problem I found when searching for Car body painters is most are busy doing insurance work and aren't interested in doing a full body respray as even if its straight it still a lot of work in prep. Which tends to leave specialists who charge accordingly when you find them. GLW search, start asking local taxi drivers where they get their cars painted , helped me find a local painter who was happy to do the job and it turned out very nice.
Hi SheepDip - not sure if it helps or not, but my family back home has run a body shop in Peterborough - so can get the East Coast mainline back to Teeside.
Dad started out painting BRMs in the 1970s and had his own shop for years now - www.peterboroughtrimrepairs.co.uk - ask for Chris. They love fords, so would be glad to help, but not sure how busy they are as I am based in Zurich now.
They do a lot of high end stuff (275 GTB, Astons, etc), classics and restorations, in addition to the more regular things
