Commission plate for Triumph Spitfire Mk 3

Hi. Had car resprayed - inc chassis etc. Commissiion/VIN plate not returned and seemingly lost by spray booth. Ugh. Vehicle legitimately registered etc

Car is to be sold and whilst I have the VIN number recorded on the V5 docs and MOT certs, does the car need to have the Commission plate for it to be considered legal and legitimate. Can you get replacement VIN?

What colour is the car and interior and I can look up the codes for them as they are also listed on the vin plate

Valencia blue is a lovely colour, infact the original colour to my now black GT6 the paint code is 66. A black interior is 11

If that were me I’d be utterly livid with the spray shop and very suspicious of the VIN plate possibly being transferred to another car and bingo a “twin” to your car back on the road.

Thanks all for comments and input. Yes... I've had my period of livid fury. We worked with a reputable organisation and I have to find a way forward .
