My warning earlier has been removed (presumably because I didn't fall for the scam and thus 'had no proof').
Of course I forgot about this being PH, where the OP is often blamed.
If someone wants more of my bank details than the bank is comfortable for me to reveal.... then alarm bells start ringing.
An online search for the 'alleged by myself' fraudsters has revealed folks having the same story re payment, and one being scammed out of funds. The url for the AF#s has also only been active 12 days. But who am I to draw conclusions - draw your own!

No, thankfully. I highlighted a search for classic car spares which could bring up a site which (because they wanted far more details over a 'livechat' than was normal). They wanted payment by visa (with verified by visa password) or by direct bank transfer, had no 'phone number! and wouldn't send me an email, for parts which they would 'confirm stock levels' after payment. Because I gave the url (having not fallen for the scam) my warning to others was removed under name/shame rules presumably because there wasn't 'certainty'? Be careful out there, the bad men have the protection of the law until proven to be bad!
