if i want to obtain a classic paint code (eg from the 60s), can that be done, and which code would i need to supply?

for example are these any good for a cadillac paint im after

PPG/Ditzler : 12883
Dupont : 4576LH
Acme/Rogers : 9419
RM/BASF : A1621F

Yanky car colours generally go by years.makes them easier to find from my experience. Yes you will find codes to match them from ppg.dupont and so on.ive got a 75 caddie and norrowed the colour down by the year it was made.

Quick Google turns up this which looks useful. Paint suppliers probalby have cross references between manufacturers.
