I chanced upon this photo of a Healy with a an unusual clear hardtop. I haven't found anything useful about it by reverse searching the image, does anyone have any info about it?

some times referred to as a Plexidome hardtop, there is a picture of in Chris Harveys book "Healey The Handsome Brute" and also in bill Piggots book, very rare and according to others yellowed and became brittle with age...

The one in that picture looks OK though....

So it's not a one off and they made a few then? It must have seemed very space age in the early 50s.

I looked this up in Chris Harveys book, seems my powers of recollection have waned and this is a "pexidome" hardtop, no L....

They made them late 50's onwards but seemed to go bust in 1968, there is an advert out on the internet if you google it

I think the Healey Museum one might be the one pictured in the OP or did I imagine that as well??
