I was there, too, but found it difficult to get photos of the racing; I think because I booked tickets too late to get grandstand tickets.

From yours, it looks like you were in Fangio?

We were in the 'Cathedral' Grandstand and managed to get our tickets at the same time (June) as we booked our entry for the Friday night 'Concours d'Elegance' in the TR3a. - You need to be VERY quick to get any of the grandstand seats!

We were watching that.
Why was one side blocked off, and worse still the lighting was terrible .

Someone asked if it was the Cathedral stand and indeed it was ( think the post had gone now though!).

I haven't been for a few years but almost wherever I went,
I found that the height and sometimes multi-layering of the catch fencing rather
spoiled the views.
