I’d guess at a Renegade 50r.

Its not the same , but the shape reminded me of a 1950 Dodge.

So i guess its either from the very late 40s or very early 50s due to the shape.

Simca and Armstrong Siddeley came to my mind, but I think I'm wrong.
Does it have 5 stud wheels?
Did the side door have a full size glass or was there once a 1/4 window to the rear of the door?

I shall get more pics tomorrow. It did have small quarter Windows which were sat inside the car. I also thought it was a rover until I saw the 4 pot.

Yes - it's a heap of rust.

It's so far beyond saving that it doesn't really matter what it once was. Looks like any useful small parts have already been scavenged, e.g no identifying badges or trim. It's just a heap of rust.

No way, I was hoping to sell the tag and chassis chunk on eBay.

I'd agree, pug 403 looks more like it.

It's more likely to be something like an old Hillman minx than some sort of exotic!
