Hi

I visited Brooklands on New Years Day seeking inspiration for which colour to respray my classic. The colour which really caught my eye was that on the two TR6 below.

It looks to me like the same colour on each so hoping it is a factory colour, does anyone know?

I have looked on Triumph websites but it is difficult to tell from some of the pictures.

Thanks

I think that's Sapphire Blue. French Blue is a light blue as is Tahiti Blue and that looks lighter than Royal Blue, as far as I'm aware those are the only blues that the TR6 came in.

Sapphire seems the logical one given the reg numbers as it was a 71-74 colour.

But, could possibly be Mallard Blue as well......which was available 73-74.

Sapphire blue. I had an L reg TR-6 in that colour, with a light blue trim.

Possibly Delft Blue? Here's a link to paint charts of the era for Triumphs. Mallard had more of a green hue to it.
