Drivers cars pre 1980 and under £15K

What cars/vehicles can people think of that are 1980 or earlier and relatively easily available under £15,000 in good to reasonable condition to buy, i.e. no wrecks or for restoration.

Intended purpose would be driving for enjoyment, in whatever guise that may take.

E12 based BMW 635/633's in nice condition can still be found for under £15k. Find one with a manual box and you have a lovely drivers car.

Get those horrible chrome arches off it, spend a grand on a nice set of 16" Alpina replica alloys with modern tyres and you've still got £2k or £3k in reserve for tightening up the steering/suspension to make it feel like a new car again.

Those S wheel trims are the perfect look on a Series 2 car for me.
Rostyles look great on a Series 1, but just don't look right on a 2.
