New wheel for the TR what do you think
Discussion
It's a nice wheel but to my mind it is a bit too "thick", looks a bit too modern for my liking.
I had the wood rim in mine, I think that suits the cars from that era.
I still have a wood rim wheel from my S series TVR on my garage wall and every time I look at it I think what it would look like on my SL.
Alas electronics and air bags.

It is a tad thicker but i just feel more comfortable with it, and as the car as other modern mods its no big dealI had the wood rim in mine, I think that suits the cars from that era.

Are they? Happy to be corrected, I just borrowed them. Too ‘sit up straight’ for me, at 6’, The reclining versions in the 6 I find very comfortable.

When I owned my TR6 some years ago, it was fitted with a leather Moto Lita steering wheel but I changed it for an OEM. I searched everywhere for one (in good condition) before finding one at the Beaulieu Autojumble. The original suited the car so much better than any other wheel IMHO.

You can have nice steering wheels and nice cars but the two don't always mix.
