Not many tourists and no salt on the road to Skye today, the Lancia working perfectly.

Perfect: the kind of trip and roads that would be frustrating in a modern Ferrari, but perfect in a car like that.

Nice car, nice trip. We went up to Scotland mid-week (even got sunburn). Perfect for the F30 335d, used every mode in the ZF8 box. The roads were a bit rough - convinced me to drop to 18” W&Tyres.

Nice pics. Good to get out while it's nice and quiet.
I was parked in the same spot at Portree last Friday. Unfortunately I was in a van.

Wish I'd bought one years ago.......Looked at a few
Still hanker, but when I last looked the plastic interior (of an 8V) was a disappointment (as well as a few rusting bits).
Can't imagine they are easy to maintain.

Please prove me wrong, but would I sell my TVR for one?

ps, was playing spot the location....

Yes the dash is horrible, yes its uncomfortable (especially with coilovers and 17"s on). Yes there`s quicker cars, Yes there`s more reliable cars. It rattles and squeaks. Every time I go out in it something stops/starts working! But I wouldn`t change it for anything. Its all about the character and history. Its hard to put into words really. If you`re into rallying then you know all about Lancia and thats where I got the bug many years ago.
I would advise against getting one if you aren`t "in to it" if you know what I mean, it can be a very frustrating car to own, but for me that`s all part of it. Many of the niggles are easy fixed and most of the jobs on the car I can do myself. This is my second one, having owned the first for 11 years, sold it, then immediately regretted it, then started looking for another one only to watch prices soar.

Like I said !

Check the history in the "vehicle spec" section.

Deposit paid today - collecting it next week.

I used to own a Giallo Ginestra Evo 2 - sold it and regretted it ( familiar story )

Can't wait !
