Hi,
Reading an article on the recent classic and retro show at the NEC and came across this shot of a CSL, in the background is what i thought at first may of been a DB of some era but it just doesn't quite match up, in the comments it was also asked and someone said it was a peerless but i'm not too sure about that from googling just wondering if anyone has any other idea

Someone else posted a pic of this before and I asked the same question.

It's a Warwick /Peerless somethingorother.

Rear window shape and the filler cap look right for a Peerless GT but the rear overhang looks too short.

Edit to add: A look on google and rear arch shape looks wrong, but may have been altered from the original:

(Looking on google some Peerless GT have a front quarter light)

a little light googling reveals that its actually a mystery - Macari "special", based on a Peerless...

"1973 Macari Peerless – A real mystery car, even to its current owner, Gary Bates. Based on a Warwick /Peerless which themselves were based upon Triumph TR 3/4 chassis, the car’s documents refer to it as a Macari. But who was Macari?"

Indeed, they've done quite a good job of the back end, but the front end they've made a right hash of frown

I suspect they were trying to emulate the look of the Lamborghini 400GT at the front...

It looks like one of those massive-chinned inbred middle class characters from Family Guy.
