Spotted this in martlesham. Looked lovely but what is it?

Saw this while filling up at Tesco, I think it was a boat tail of some description. I was in a rush so didn't have a chance to chat to the owner.

Any ideas as to what it is or anyone seen it on the track?

Austin 7 ulster (possibly replica)

Wow that was quick, cheers, I might be wrong but I think it had a 3 number 3 letter plate, it was very small though.

I might have lied. Might bot be an Ulster, but its definitely an Austin 7 based Special, the ulster is the most common type of 7 special/racer. Tail looks longer than most other Ulsters.

I cant tell from the photo, but is the rear bodywork metal or fabric stretched over a wooden (ash) frame?
