Mazda RX4 I think, on second thoughts it could be an RX3

Thanks, never thought to look to the Far East! Don't know how many they sold in the day but there's only two or three left in the UK.

To be (possibly incorrectly) pedantic I suspect that’s a 929 Coupe (piston) and not an RX4 (rotary).

There was a 929 Coupe that cruised around Glasgow in Red with the Starsky & Hutch stripe, late 70’s early 80’s. From the front it did look a bit like a Grand Torino.

In some of the pictures I've found the RX4 has a different rear-end treatment to the 929, the rear panel is inset with the lights standing proud of it, but it's inconclusive.

On balance, I would guess my pic is more likely to be the 929 than the RX4, on grounds of rarity.

A friend of mine has an LS engine his. Before that it was RV8 TT powered.
