E-Type & Conwy Castle

The chap that owns my office is a serial collector. Smart enough to have started in the 70's!!
This is his E-Type with something a little bit older in the background!
I stood next to it yesterday and you can smell the car, petrol, leather etc even with the doors shut!
Stunning!
He also has a stunning AH 3000 in blue with 25k on the clock (California bought but RHD). Several Alvis' including racing versions apparently although not seen, Jowetts, early Porsches, 1930's Bentley (Derby), a manual Mark 1 Jensen Interceptor (v rare!), a 1937 Jaguar SS100 drop top and one I've seen, a 1930's Cord Phaeton in tow tone.
He reckons in today's terms they cost him tens of thousands for the lot! The AH 3000 drop head is valued at just shy of £100k!

That's a nice shot, but I'm struggling to figure out where it's taken from. The view of the castle makes it look as if it's taken on Benarth Road somewhere, but I can't place those car parking spaces on Google Earth at least, and am too far away to go and look in real life. Is it a particularly old or new photograph, do you know?
I must say I also try to take photos of my cars with impressive backgrounds, though it's a few years since I've gone out of my way to do one. I must get on to that this summer.

My office is in the old fishery building beyond the bowling green, thus you are indeed correct, but above Benarth Road. My view from my office is pretty much what you see! How lucky am I? Hardly “off topic” as the Castle is mentioned in the thread title. The E type looks better than the castle, which would have been limewashed and probably lime roughcast. It’s now a bare shell ripe for repair...Lovely "E" type.
