I am going to help someone repair and replace the folding sunroof on a 1972 Fiat 500. Before we tackle it I'd like to get a look at a good parts exploded assembly diagram. Can anyone help with maybe a scanned pdf from the parts manual or a website with a diagram?
Thank you

Just dug out my haynes manual to take a picture to post, but its not in there. It is really really simple though, Its a frame with a middle bar that just bolts in and a clip on the fabric.
If your not removing the old one, I can take some pictures of mine in situ?

Jeremy, thanks, that would be great. The old one appears to have some fasteners/hardware missing. A clear couple of photos of how the back corners are supposed to look/fasten down, and the middle bar and its ends too. PM me if you like.

Could I ask where you sourced the replacement from?

I need a new one for my '72 car too.

Thanks.

There are loads of websites with them for sale, heres the link to two, but there are plenty more who will supply them.

Thanks - there are loads you're right, plenty on ebay too but I wasn't sure if there were all the same quality so was hoping for a recomendation.
I've used Ricambio in the past, so will probably go to them.

They are expensive but their customer service is really good, they really know their stuff.

The dutch website is also really good and the parts are really good quality (theres only a few manufacturers so it literally is the same stuff a lot of the time), but obviously the customer service is a little more tricky, delivery is surprisingly quick though.
