Mornin' all, I've been rummaging through some old photos from the loft, and came across this one of me old man, circa 1950.
At this time we thought he only had Humbers or Daimlers, and this looks like neither.
i have tried to see if i could identify it myself, but no luck.
I'll add though that one prominent feature on it that i have so far not come across is the six vents on the bonnet.

Big Austins had painted radiator surrounds, mostly. I was thinking Wolseley, or Riley but can't find a match.

I'd agree. The angle of the camera doesn't help.

This Morris has the bonnet slots, but not the quarterlight:

Looks like a 1936 Morris ,either 16hp or 18hp. The 'quarter light' is I think just an add on wind deflector .

It looks as though it has some kind of triangular emblem on the hub caps but I'm sure I can see a mascot on radiator cowl similar to that on a Morris Minor.

FYI 52classic, if Allan L says no, it's no. His is an authoritative post.

Sorry. Didn't mean to come across as awkward. Allan L is a Lea Francis expert, although he would probably play this down in a self-effacing manner.
