Six P6 Cop Cars on a Transporter

Not the sort of thing you see every day, especially not in Shad Thames - apparently filming for the forthcoming Disney prequal to 101 Dalmations, called Cruella. Unfortunately they weren't all V8s though...

Got cages fitted in as well......obviously set up for stunt sequences.

I hope they remember to put the wheel and side trims on before filming.....?

I bought a Mexico Brown 3500S back in 1979 - it felt like a rocket-ship to a 20 year-old.

Mind you it was as rusty as the 9 year old Fiat it replaced.

They must have been buying them up for a year or so and converting/painting them somewhere.

Not many people keep 6 blue P6 Police cars in the shed for a trip to a summer show.

Keeping them all running at the same time must be a challenge..

These were in Bracknell a few weeks ago, something to do with the Cruella de Vil movie that Disney are filming at the moment.

Yep - they are the ones, I recognise that classic bin lorry too - that was on one of the side streets around us as well. Might have to watch the movie when it comes out.

It inspired me to dust my 3500 off and took it into work yesterday, they really are awesome cars!

The V8's were proper police cars, although surprisingly, not much quicker than the TC round inner london. The inner division cars did not have the roof lights either.

The classic bin lorries were up to something interesting. They're not very tall, at least not by modern standards and they'd got one of them through the entrance into the old council offices which they'd made up to look like a police station.

Have fond memories of many rides in X Div 3500 area cars back in the 70's, as well as the odd TD Q traffic 3500.
