A very happy Xmas and New Year to us all. Whether you drive the latest or the oldest model, may they bring you miles and miles of smiles. Forget the "investment", forget the running costs, forget the weather; just get your car out and drive it. Look for the meetings near you on New Year's Day, get up early to get a decent parking position, chat to owners of whatever car, have a pint and a sandwich, and partake of the friendship and passion of fellow minded people. You'll astonish yourself because you'll actually enjoy it, no matter what the weather!

Don't worry - there's been so much rain recently all the salt will be washed away.

Edit: Actually, that's not much better for you, is it?

Happy Christmas everyone.

Indeed, very happy Christmas to all the regulars, and non-regulars, on this forum. Alas no Boxing Day meet at Romsey this year so I don't think I will be out and about.

Best to all.

The TR is going no where when the salt around, it would disintegrate

A 1981 Japanese Classic would do much the same, hence it's wrapped up in the heated carport.

Still, Merry Christmas to one and all.

For those within striking distance of Hertfordshire, there’s the Boxing Day meet at Sarratt. Always a good turn out and a nice atmosphere. We’ll be there in the Alfa smile

For those in the South - Port Solent , Portsmouth are doing Breakfast meet Boxing Day. I’m tempted to go down from South London.

The Mercedes will be taxed in January as had an expensive couple of months. My SAAB is coping well with Winter so far, the heater is great.

Then there's the Wickham meet Boxing Day and the White Buck in the New Forest on New Years Day.

ETA But from London take the M3 south to Hartley Wintney. The Phoenix pub is where the VSCC was started, and while they have departed there is a superb turnout, come rain or come shine. Get there after 10am and you'll probably be parking a mile away!
