S1 OTS E-Type in the Enfield Poltergeist

Caught a few seconds in this Enfield Poltergeist documentary (from about 97 I think) of a red E-Type roadster that was once owned by the investigator into the hauntings, Maurice Grosse. I had heard of the car which was featured in a Sky drama a few years ago but wasn't quite sure if the real life individual actually owned one, but looks like he did.

I wonder where this E-Type is now?. Pity I can't make out the number, but I would be surprised if it still had the same number after so long.

I remember the 1988 programme , as i grew up in Chingford at the time. But as an E - Type obsessive, I had no idea that Maurice owned a Carmen red E Type S.1 roadster. The film of the car dates from 1968, the E is either a 3.8 or 4.2.

Just been doing a bit of reading up on Maurice Grosse and OMG, what a remarkable human being he was!!

Maurice was hailed as one the greatest ghost/paranormal researchers within that field, and know doubt the Enfield case is the one which most people remember him being involved with. On the subject of poltergeists but I hadn't realized til recently that there was a similiar, much earlier British poltergeist case from Byron St in Runcorn in 1952, and a spate of poltergeist disturbances on a council estate on the outskirts of Manchester in the early 90s.

The only TV drama I've heard of recounting the case is the Sky drama aired a few years ago starring Timothy Spall has Grosse, and the E-Type was featured in a number of scenes and seen parked up besides the house. Hard to believe Maurice Grosse would arrive in his open top E-Type, no way would anyone do that today in case some scally on that estate tried to pinch it. Someone in the E-Type club would likely know the whereabouts of the actual E-Type he owned.
