A great show in Paris over the weekend with an awful lot of amazing cars. Only managed a few pictures of some of the things I fell in love with.

The two 'barn-find' Facel IIs were a highlight, would loved to have either one running as a scruffy smoker to drive just as they were. Not cheap though at 194 and 219k Euros.

The Grifo was magnificent as were all the Maseratis and Alfas.

Luckily the Facel III had been sold as my wife wanted to buy it. eek
That's not her in the picture by the way.

One I didn't get a picture of though was a restored BMW Glas 1600 GT which was absolutely wonderful and extremely cool.

Also the Renault Torino on show. Wow! Who knew about these lovely Argentianian oddities?

A great show, and would go again for sure. smile

Thanks for posting. We went to this show four years ago and will be going back next year. Fabulous range of Classic vehicles, parts, and memorabilia etc. Definitely one for petrol heads.

Agree it was a great show. Popped across on Wednesday for a look around. All my pictures are on my phone so I'll try to upload some later. Couple of highlight were the Audi R8 Le Mans car & a beautiful little Autobianchi Bianchina that was for sale in hall 3.

Need to convince my darling wife to let me go again next year!

Thanks for the Facel pics, Vixen1700. I note the prices of the Facel 11s; presumably those were the prices at which the cars were sold. They were estimated at €110,000 - €130,000 so if they sold at €194,000 and €219,000 they did well. You could have had a restored right hand drive Facel 11 sold at Goodwood last September for just over £150,000.

Nice pictures, thanks! It's a couple of years since I "did" Retromobile, I feel this may be resolved in '21 - I miss it.

Sounds a bargain compared to those two. laugh

There were two other Facel IIs there, I know one was for sale on the Vega Passion stand and think it was over 300k Euros. The Facel III sold for 115k Euros and the chap from Vega Passion said he could have sold it again another three or four times.

There was an HK500 for sale too for 235k Euros.

We were there the last day and it seemed that a lot of cars had sold during the course of the show, including a few 300SLs .
