Do the new rules mean I can't drive my ferrari for 3 months

After the usual winter hibernation I was going to start driving my classic 308 gtb in a weeks time but I cant say I am a doctor going to work with it nor will the police believe I am using it for the essential shopping. I don't like not using it over winter but this additional 3 months is not going to do the car any good. Just running the engine is not advisable either. Are there any realistic options to use the car.
Its not a wind up. I do not have a daily driver but use my mk2 sprite if I need to go by car, which I can use for my food shopping now but not really more. It would be good to know what the fines for driving the ferrari would be as I do not think it is too irresponsible to take it out for a run.

I think the thread would have gone in a totally different (and more positive) direction had the word 'car' or 'classic' been substituted for 'ferrari' in the title...
It comes across as a bit ''Hey everyone I've got a Ferrari!!'' which is a little appropriate in times like these. To be fair to the OP I don't think that was the intention but it just shows how one simple written word can change the whole tone of a message.
Anyway, to answer the question I personally wouldn't be going down to Tesco in a Ferrari at the moment for various reasons. Ideally it should be hooked up to a battery trickle charger, tyres pumped right up to avoid flat spotting and tucked up in some sort of storage.

You're right - driving it to the shops is a legitimate journey. I'll probably be using my old Camaro to go shopping at some point. However, like the OP, I'll probably be a bit self-conscious about it and worry about being accused of driving unnecessarily.The question didn't deserve the immediate, holier-than-thou, Pistonheads custard treatment.
I'm to go take the piss out of the guy worrying about his driving appliance for some balance.
The reason I mentioned ferrari in the title is because it is probably the most likely marque to be stopped by the police. There are many classics more valuable than mine so it's not to show off. I am a car nut like most of you and it has taken a lifetime of saving and sacrifice to buy this car. Being the owner/custodian I am concerned about looking after it as best I can, and being more complicated and in parts more fragile than my sprite I think it's not an unreasonable question.
