Just a stock photo in today's paper but it's annoying me that I can't identify the car. Wing looks Jag but wheel suggests Ford. Is this an actual car and wheel combo or just someone holding a random wheel up against a car?

That reminds me of my Datsun Z with the light cowel removed but as it was 20odd years back am probably wrong.

Definitely a 240Z looking at the profile of the shut line for the door, the height of the swage line, the arch, the indicator and the long central nose.

Another pic from the same photographer...

Looks to be dead right.

Just made it within the 30 minute response time that I've come to expect from the PH massive. hehe

Thanks everyone, at least that's one thing less to be nagging at me all day.

Pretty impressive response it has to be said clap

Often these mystery car pics are grainy black & white photos of something from 1930s and my eyes glaze over (no offence to any enthusiasts of this era, just not my thing)…

So when this photo popped up, obviously something 1960s / 70s I was intrigued and it must be said, mystified.

Well done to the posters who identified it!
