I hope someone will be able to trace my father's modified HB Vauxhall Viva, I have looked on the DVLC website and it still seems to be in existance. When my father sold it, it had a Rover V8 engine in it however on the DVLC website it states that it has a Chevy V8 installed but it has no MOT so I suspect it is used for racing. Can anyone help me trace this vehicle

It hasn't had an MOT for 37 years and last V5 issued 32 years ago, so think the chances that it still exists are very slim.

You could post the same question on the Viva Owners Club forum, they have a pretty decent register. http://www.vauxhallviva.com/forum/index.php

Have a look on Facebook for groups like Thunder saloons , modified saloon cars etc .
There are some very knowledgeable people within those groups.
It would also help if you could indicate which area or circuits the car completed at .
