Thats looks a good deal, I would normally buy three or four issues a year from the local supermarket (accompanied by raised eyebrows from the missus!)
So I have signed up for this, of course I will have to remember to cancel the DD at the end of the year as I suspect that is where the catch is.

Cheers for the heads up, that's a really good deal.
I've just finished one of their three issues for £3 offers, so they'll probably recognise my name when I sign up again for this
It's a good mag but expensive these days and no longer required reading for me. Too many ads for yachts, watches and exclusive concours events where a scumbag like me would be about as welcome as a fart in an astronaut suit.

Thanks for posting that, I've just signed up too.
What is the cover price these days, must be at least £5/month? Can't go wrong at £1 per issue. Like someone else has said, best put a reminder on your phone just before it renews in 12 months time as I doubt it roll over for another £12 per year.
WhatCar and AutoCar also available for the same price too:

Wonder if I asked for a free subscription I'd get it? Having bought (not always, who has bought every issue?) and read the mag since April 1982 (launch).
I remember driving up to Teddington in 1982 and meeting Mick Walsh - I was after photographs for a book - and he kindly let me rifle through the drawers of a particular marque, which had some photos that were not of the marque in question, and I put them to one side (hopefully to find their right place).
Yeah, thanks for the heads up. I will def go for the print edition at a quid a copy delivered. Who wouldn't if you like the mag?

You don’t have to remember to cancel the DD at the end of the year. Just cancel it once they have taken the £12.So I have signed up for this, of course I will have to remember to cancel the DD at the end of the year as I suspect that is where the catch is.

I was shocked when I looked at the latest issue the other day £5.70Pleased to help, seemed a cracking deal to me.
I still have loads of old copies of C&S - the first issue in April 82 was incorporated with 'Old Motor' magazine.
Price then? 75p!
If you want another useless bit of info, back then it was Classic & Sportscar (1 word),
now of course it's Classic & Sports Car (2 words).
Can't remember when it changed or why? Expect someone can.

Just had an E mail from Haymarket, 1st DD to go out on the 2/7 for £12.00 to cover the first 12 issues, then followed by payments of £22.99 for every six issues, ( unspecified dates), DD can be cancelled at any time, so I will cancel as advised above once the first £12.00 has been taken.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
