Trying to trace and an old beetle

Trying to trace an old beetle I used to own 9 years ago. It was sold on this site again in 2014. Anyone have any idea how u can trace it?

Perhaps try posting in the VW Beetle groups on facebook, like the Beetle owners groups?

I've been trying since 2018. I've contacted the dvla and tried loads of Facebook groups but no joy 😕

Looking at its history, it had a big MOT fail in Sep 2017 due to corrosion., then miraculously it passed two days later with no advisories. It's now SORN.

I suspect it's parked up somewhere awaiting some TLC. But I suspect you've already looked all that up.....

I actually own this car now! It looks quite different to the old photos I can find of it online - It’s now more of a peppermint/seafoam green, has backdated pre-1968 front end and it’s on air ride. I’d add a photo but I can’t seem to find a way of doing so!

I'm invested in this thread as its quite rare when a previous and current owner link up, and I don't imagine PH is a 'go to' forum for Beetle owners !

Yes, spoken to the new owner. Lovely to see pics and chuffed to bits he’s still going strong
