A lot of flood damage cars are scrapped because of contamination from the sort of stuff that gets into flood waters. On the other hand if it just fell into a reservoir.....

The irony is that every single one of those "contaminated" parts will find a new home in due course, spreading the (theoretical) biological risk. There really should be a special category marker for water damage with/without contamination.
