Classic car benefit in kind

Before anyone shoots me I knew the old classic car benefit in kind tax regime but having just looked it up for a refresh it appears the government now say you use the list price for any car at any age and for unknown CO2 for 1998 apply a percentage depending on engine size.
Now for an e type that could be 37% of £2500 as BIK! I just have got something wrong...
