And a brave man.

Seen today on the M20.

Registered as a black TR6.

Wow, that’s unlikely to be ripped apart as a donor. ???

Perhaps it was involved in an accident.

25k is a bit steep for a US-spec car though. Although it's clearly been restored at some stage.

Interesting story behind that, I expect.

Its likely a Sammio or a Miglia kit car i think. I believe they're built on herald underpinnings, but think the 6pot can be fitted.

I take back the C type comment if it's either of those , trying to ape an early Ferrari TR or similar , after seeing pics of the front of Sammio and Miglia .

25k seems a bit steep for a LHD TR6 in 2014

If you are going to 'clone/replica' an early Ferrari TR racer or whatever it is the intention, surely, using a LHD donor car would be perfect, and you wouldn't make it blindingly obviously not what it 'might' be by making it RHD?

Remember that many early road racers from LHD countries are RHD .

Looks very much like TR6 engine and box. Running triple Webers rather than PI, though.

So it's a Huett Special then. Not a looker, IMO.

I submited an 'expresson of interest' back in 2011 on the HB Coupe, but they couldn't raise the funds, and kept changing the concept. It's never going to happen, but my name is still on the list.
