Capri 3 Litre S / The 1983 British Wine Race

This event took place in early 1983. Duncan Goodhew was one of the competitors. But it was won easily by the Batman / Robin team in their Signal Amber Capri 3 Litre S.
Competitors were asked to wear fancy dress, but but Batman and Robin didn’t realise what the type of fancy dress was !

It used to be a relatively big event in the 80's, as I recall - big enough to regularly make the national TV news.
