Hi Guys has anyone got a Cambridge blue (metallic) 1975 V8 Vantage or similar vintage that a friend of mine can scan with a spectrometer, preferably in the S.E of England Surrey... Thanks.. have posted on the Aston page...

It is rather niche or nice, depending on your point of view, was informed (on the Aston page) that they didn't do a 1975 V8 Vantage... Just need to scan the colour of any V8 in Cambridge blue of that era...

I assume that Cambridge blue is a light blue. Oxford blue is better.

I my blue at Oxford... Cambridge blue was always of lesser value

Oh hell......
A couple of years ago, there was a just restored Cambridge Blue DB6 on one of the restorers stands at the Revival and I asked the guy about the colour as I was considering a similar shade of blue for my hot rod project at the time, and he obligingly gave me his contact details and told me to email him, and he'd give me the paint codes and spec as they had just finished it. I did and he did, and only just a matter of a few weeks ago I was clearing out old emails and saw it and deleted it as I have gone another direction with colour choice
