NOTHING - I mean NOTHING cleans tyres (not wheels, tyres) like this. I have used everything going for years (I mean YEARS!) when like in the 60s all I you could get only tyre 'paint' - yeah, you wasted ages painting the bloody tyres. I probably have a tin left somewhere being the hoarding type!

As said, nice looking tyres (ie like they look when new) adds to the car look - you'be polished the car to showrooom finish and the alloys are as clean as new (Bilberry wheel cleaner imo is the best). All spoilt by dirty tyres or at least they look dirty.

About 4 yrs ago I picked up a can of 'foam' tyre cleaner only because it was reduced from 4 quid to a pound in ...Morrisons!!
I have tried Meguiars, Turtlewax, Autoglym... etc (you name it, I've tried it). Some is ok, some you work into the tyre walls etc. ie: YOU have to do some work. Fair enough, nothing is easy...

EXCEPT THIS!!!
Spray on, all round the tyre wall (foam) - approx a minute (A MINUTE!) to do four tyre walls. Then ...
Just leave. LEAVE! LOL

Obviously if you excessively dirty tyres do what it says, clean off with water. Then allow to dry.
Shake can well. Spray an even coat of Tyre Shine directly on to the tyre wall using a sweeping motion.
Allow foam to fully collapse (approx 10 mins).
Come back in 10 mins and bingo - new look tyres! Drive off!

Bloody amazing stuff. Reminds me, I need some more.

Just looked online and some are charging nearly 10 quid a can! I think retail is £4.50.

Triplewax Foam Tyre Shine - there are different ones, some say 'wet look' but it all works the same.
I think they might have changed the aerosol image design now, but I used to just look for the dark green can and red band at bottom.

My conclusion after years of polishing cars is that life is too short to be cleaning tyres, I'm afraid. Mine get washed with the rest of the car.

So what happens to the wheel when it’s also covered in tyre foam, you have to wipe it off?

Yes, amazing isn't it, there are people who clean tyres. Only they've closed up shop, but they used to be a very nice group of people and they'd clean the whole car too whilst I wondered into town for a coffee.

Bit TFR on them with the lower half of the car, pressure wash, done. Add dressing if I can be bothered.

Edit - definitely no tyre dressing on anything classic.
