Talking Pictures TV, Freeview Channel 81

The channel shows 'old' films and 'antique' documentaries .....

Today 9 February, 2021, there is a program that might be of interest

Forever Vespa
Tuesday 9th Feb 10:30am
The history of the iconic Italian motor scooter
Runtime: 70 minutes

I recently watched programmes:
MGB on Overdrive (made in 1968, a factual short film highlighting how overdrive gets you more MGB)
Precision Makes Perfect (1930's Austin Promotional film showing accuracy that has to be adhered to when building an Austin car)

So, keep your eyes open - there may be some other 'lost' motoring gems

I've seen quite a few good programmes on here, but I must admit I haven't been checking the EPG recently - last time they had a spate of just re-showing the same stuff over and over, but they're not unusual in that.

The channel is run by one bloke and his daughter, from home, IIRC.

We were discussing old films on the tv, films & radio section

If you are interested in 'old' films, or indeed 'old' films of 'classic cars', then Talking Pictures TV can be quite useful.
