The Anadol A1 it's parked beside is much rarer.

Interesting, because the Citroen has such a mellow patina but appears reasonably rust free: the difference between a banger “emerging classic” in the UK and one in a warm dry southerly climate.

What a great spot. Of course the A1 was just the hors d'oeuvres for the A8 which has fair claim as the most hideous car in creation!

What kind of vision-correction apparatus are you wearing if you see shades of SAAB in this? smile

A late (post-‘52) French-built Normale 4-cyl, 11B. You’d half expect it to be sat in a French barn!

I happen to have one, lovely things to drive, if a little slow compared to modern traffic.

Don't the chrome headlight bezels and thinner bumpers mark the "Turkish" car as a bit older than post 50's? I thought they stopped the chrome headlights after the war or are these not original?

What a beauty! How do you fee about gambling? I decided to try no account casinos shazamforpcwindows.com/ and see what is that. I was so surprised when I won my first 100$. It's so easy when you play games you like such as poker or video slots. I personally prefer to play roulette, it's fun and brings good money. Follow the link and choose your best no account casino.

Nope I'm seeing it too. The roof line running down the c pillar to the bootlid looks very 1970's SAAB like.

The original was designed for them by Reliant (hence fibreglass body on separate chassis), styled by Ogle and had Ford mechanicals, in fact.

Yes, it’s there in the rear three quarters view. Easy not to notice as overall design is an inharmonious mess. That front!

OK so I see what you're saying but I'm still not convinced and anyway, I think we're all missing the most interesting feature of this picture: the occupants are both wearing crash helmets! yikes

A quick look on wiki suggests it was largely inspired by Saab's and Volvo's of the era.

I think it’s a combination of the lighting along with faded headlamp shells. All cars had chrome headlamp rims, but the shells were black post war on French built cars. After 1952 the bumpers were switched to straight style bumpers as opposed to the earlier moustache style bumpers, so again that would suggest it’s a post ‘52 car but it is entirely possible these have all been added later.

Without seeing the rear it’s difficult to say definitively.
