I've just bought some period Corbeau seats for my 1972 BMW and am looking for some inspiration for a re trim. Ideally thinking something Porsche Outlaw style or maybe Singer influenced?
Any inspiration or cool old seat pics welcome.
Corbeau Equipe - or so I believe?

Corbeau Equipe was the 'company' who made Corbeau seats. Any inspiration or cool old seat pics welcome.

Yours I believe are Corbeau 'GT6 Recline'.
Best Corbeau bucket (not recliner) imo was the GT4
Especially the 'tan' GT4. Takes me back to late 60s early 70s!!
edit
Yep, yours are GT6 recliners

Yes they look like GT8 I saw a pair for sale on eBay recently, quite fancied them but they were too far away.
It looks sort of Corbeau GT4 but from my recollection they always had 9 rows of 3 ringlets across (that one has 4 across) down the back, and seat area had 4 rows of 5 ringlets (your seat has 4 rows of 6 ringlets.
Could be a rival seat, like Billover, Moto Lita, Terry Hunter,(Huntmaster) or perhaps a later Corbeau, but I don't think so.
Corbeau is still going today, and you can get a 'retro' GT4 seat from them (still doesn't look like the original GT4 because it has fewer eyelets on back pad and also not for 18 quid anymore! LOL (apparently 18 quid in 1970 is today worth £240.22 so I little above inflation rate at £376.80 (I may of course be in error here, figures were never my forte - apart from the curvaceous type!).

That's great - thank you.
£22! Do you know what year that ad is from please? I like how the drawing shows how deep the bolsters are, which is my favourite aspect of these seats.
Apols, missed that. Don't have it to hand at the mo, but 1970-72. I can tell you that advert was not the usual John Brown Wheels or any of the other know car parts sellers, it was a Mail Order company that sold loads of car stuff called 'Discount Marketing' in Waverley, Bury St Edmunds. £22! Do you know what year that ad is from please? I like how the drawing shows how deep the bolsters are, which is my favourite aspect of these seats.

All purchases were 'post free' if you quoted 'Dept CCC' (the ad was in the monthly 'Triple C' mag as we knew it then - ie 'Cars and Car Conversions' - in fact, back then everything seemed to be 'free delivery' no matter who you ordered from. Many included subframes and runners too.
They'd add all that as extras today!
