I have no knowledge on the pre war stuff and please accept my apologies in advance for starting yet another, however I have been asked by a family member if I can find out what this is - your suggestions gratefully received. Yes, it does need new tyres!

I think it may be an Austin Heavy 12 Clifton Tourer from around the mid-1920s.

What a pity the number plate is obscured, be good fun to check out the whereabouts of this car.

I have been reliably informed, that it is an Austin 12/4 'Windsor' saloon of about 1928, with 'easy-clean' wheel hubs fitted over its artillery wheels.

Very similar, but this is the "Clifton" Tourer (convertible) version. The "Windsor" is the Saloon (hardtop).
