I was at Shelesley Walsh at the weekend and this was one of the more interesting cars

I thought it was a fabulous looking thing and no doubt very quick, although I think I'd prefer a petrol engine.

I didn't get to talk to the owner but I believe it was done for competitive advantage in competition.

I'd rather (try to) drive Chris Williams' tyre-smokin' 24,000cc Napier-Bentley:

Then there was the 95 Litre V16 Cummins diesel-powered Mini pick-up as featured at the Goodwood FoS a few years back.

Yes I know, it wasn't a runner, fun idea though....

He usually runs that at the Bristol Pegasus track day at Castle Combe and is on the list this year as well

It's on next Saturday but no idea if spectators are allowed this year, they normally are though

My father used a 1939 Packard 8 with a Perkins P6-305 as a daily driver for most of his life. It’s quiet possibly the highest mileage Packard on the planet. It was an old bin wagon engine he rebuilt in the conservatory, mated to a Humber Super Snipe gearbox (with overdrive) via a Commer backplate. What a man. cool
