Classic Mercedes interior fabrics

Hi all,

I’m after some inspiration. I have a 91 500e that is in the middle of being refurbished and want to add a little to the interior.

Is there a good source of Mercedes fabrics anywhere ?

My current favourite is the Orange Plaid but the square grey and white material I think they had on the 190 Cosworths also looks great.

Any ideas or sources would be much appreciated.

The black / white check you mention from the 190 was available on the W124 Sportline and should therefore be available at any good restoration specialist




The 500E had a rare grey leather/cloth option (078 option code) which Rowan Atkinson had on his - you may be able to find an original which would slot in?

I don’t think I’ll do the seat centres but it definitely needs a bit of colour, lots of options to choose from now.

I’ll do a thread once I pick the car up in a couple of weeks.
