Hi all, I purchased this flywheel many years ago to fit on a 1275 A series, however it didn't fit so it sits in my garage gathering dust. I have decided to try and sell it to someone who can make use of it, but to do that it would be really helpful to know what it's for! Can anyone help?

As best as I can make out it is 10 1/4" overall diameter, mounting holes pcd is 2 1/4", central hole is 1 1/2" and clutch is 7 1/4".

Looks like Ford Crossflow to me. But the last time I saw a crossflow flywheel was decades ago.

Unfortunately not, that is why I purchased it but it doesn't fit.

Unusual looking ringgear. Count the teeth and see if that number comes up with anything on Google.

With a bit of Googlefoo I believe it may be from a 1098cc Morris Minor. Can anyone confirm?

Edited to add, further investigation says not 1098, I believe that they only have 4 flywheel bolts.

1098 minor would be 4 bolt crank.

It is likely from a midget or marina. Marina flywheel doesn't fit the midget crank and vice versa. It's to do with the dowls and the circular 'step' around the crank bolt holes.

Where are you located?

I am based in Huntingdon. Thanks for confirming about the 1098 crank.

That dowel sparks a memory in my mind from my old marina which was taken apart many times, may just be that though a memory and a wrong un at that.
