Had one as a company car for a short while after a director got sacked. I’ll never forget the massive dashboard - it felt like driving the starship Enterprise, and with similar handling.

Renault 25 owner ,possibly....ideaconfused

Probably needs a refurb though .

I have an alloy for a Mazda Elford in much worse condition , never thought about selling ,it really is in a state .

It dissolved in 1988. It was a 1987 car.

Didn’t expect there to be many left. Surprised there are about 45 cars still in the UK according to howmanyleft.

Anyone remember the TV ad - couldn't be more 80's if Don Johnson had been driving it in a white linen suit with his sleeves rolled up!

As soon as I saw this thread I thought “But remember the ads…” and went to YT for some nostalgia. That little gatehouse they drive though in the first ad is the West entrance to Ashton park, a heavily used rat-run in those days.

As in Ashton Park School? They took the long way home then - it's about a mile from the suspension bridge that they spent the entire advert getting to!!
