How does a vehicle being imported but UK registered affect its value? if it does?

Would you say imported classic cars are worth less?

If it's been imported from a dry US state , for example , it could be worth more .

Apologies should have clarified - I'm not referring to say an American car being imported from there/ a japanese from Japan etc...

More like for example.... A Lancia Fulvia from South Africa so it would also be right hand drive.

Should it affect the value?
