Few years ago, a chap who now owns my old Escort Cosworth, K226 VWL called me to discuss etc. Can't remember his name or details, but if anyone might know who it is, could you kindly ask him to contact me as i have recently found some VERY useful items that belong to that car smile

I've not seen that reg on the main Escort Cosworth forum, might be worth asking in the Rally section on here too though.

I'm sure I've got photos of that car from Harewood (possibly Croft or Outlon hehe )

Might have a name in the back windows, of only I could bloody find them!

It appears so, it must be 3 to 4 years since the current owner called me. He had gone right through it all and had RR,d it, made a healthy 330 bhp, sounded like it's in a good home smile
I only went to Harewood once, blew the rear diff up on the start line, 2nd practise i think.

It is a genuine Motorsport Es Cos, i think i sold it in 2004.

[FYI this car, sans me, won the 1997 Midland Hillclimb championship]

Who was driving it back then? Grew up near Shelsley Walsh so may have seen it back in the day.

Might be worth joining and asking on here:

https://www.escortrscosworth.com/forum/

There are a few members who used them in anger back in the day, and a couple who know a lot of history of the motorsport edition ones that were used in competition.
