I was idly looking at cars and thought to look on the Lister Classics website, the first time I've looked there. I saw this; and I'm in love. It's not even my favoured era of car, but I honestly think it is the most beautiful vehicle I've ever seen.

I'd just like to point I have no affiliation with the dealer or anyone in it, nor can I afford that sort of money on a car (my house wasn't much more!). I just wanted to share it, as I'm sure most don't know about it.

I like the look of it too.... I have an Aero 8, so am a bit of a sucker for that type of line.

I wonder what it drives like? I can imagine that purring through France in the summer. smile

The side-on proportions look a bit off to me and the front is very XK120, but a nice thing to see, and all for the price of a Mk1 Escort wink

It is lovely, clearly a lot of work has gone into it, but it’s all a bit fake and far too ‘art-deco ball room’ for my liking.

If we’re doing beautiful,

Of course beauty is ………….. and all that!

This was my 1954 RME, the model on which the Riley Royale Coupe is based:

I'm not really into pre-war cars at all, but the Duesenbergs look pretty spectacular especially when the average Joe couldn't afford a car of any description at the time.

With you on the last one. My father sold this (365 GTC) for £4,600 back in the day.

Would need a signalman up front to help navigate out of junctions!

The OP’s choice is a bit Art Deco for me. Can’t go wrong with that Muira posted above.
