Help please just got in the car no power at key ignition point did come up with gen light on just going to check battery any ideas would be helpful please

Has the ignition switch come loose from ignition lock barrel it happened to my atr turn key nothing the battery was fine.

You say no power at key ignition point, yet also say gen light came on.... which shows there's power at key ignition point....
From your limited description it's difficult to ascertain what the issue is.
