Hi guys,
I'm looking for a set of 12 inch whitewall tyres, to fit on to an 1959 Fiat 500n, and the whitewall needs to be "thin" roughly 10mm.....
Anyone know where i can get a set ?

Lansdowne tyres might be a decent shout.

North Hants Tyres in Basingstoke or Old Town Autos in Nottingham might be worth trying.

Vintage Tyres suggest these (20mm whitewall).

If you fancy having a go yourself, Mr Whitewall supplies the white latex paint.

Thanks for your help guys...but need the much thinner ones than the ones suggested, as i said, roughly 10mm...... most of the English tyre suppliers do the thicker ones, but not the ones i want..

The Michelins have a thinner white wall (maybe 20mm) here

I think I know the look you're after. Here are some I put on my TR6, obviously a bigger wheel.

Longstone Tyres supply classic tyres, and say they can have a whitewall any size built into the carcass, although it probably won't be cheap!

A friend of mine used these on his early Beetle. They are inserts that fit under the rim and make any regular tyre look like whitewalls. I assume you can trim them down to your desired depth?

The OP wants thin band whitewalls though smile

As an aside, I had inserts on a previous classic. They were cheap, but didn t fit flush with the sidewall and one nudge of the kerb and they were buggered.

Anything painted on or stuck on will not look right, due to the white bit half-covering any embossed lettering on the sidewall of a non-whitewall tyre.

You are the king of White wall tyres William.

I’m very keen on them too. Unfortunately the US seem to be the only suppliers these days and their rubber ain’t good

There’s a guy in instagram who does them - creates a safe ridge and paints them on your car while the wheel spins. Any colour you like and any thickness. Has good reviews too.
